Nah. This definitely isn't a "both sides" thing. When Democrat politicians get caught with, oh let's say, child porn, they get lengthy stories in WaPo about their long histories of public service that point out their status as members of the LGBTQ community like this one: www.washingtonpost.com/dc-md-va/2023/11/20/maryland-mayor-child-pornography-prison/There's no waiting 10 years until a presidential election to dig up some really dark things that were said in a heated moment to slime someone. The rehabilitation of Dems starts immediately.

Well lookie here, a Huffington Post intrepid reporter assigned to report on the most important issues in the 2024 presidential campaign has found his way from NYC to the bellweather town of Claremont, NH, population 13,149, and has uncovered the # 1 issue that is going to drive voters into the Biden camp come November 5, 2024.
These clowns will grasp at any straw to avoid talking about Biden's record of failure.

Quelle surprise. Of course the party which has lost its moral way would have someone like this as a leader.

Shame some are only concerned that the Dems are worse and that it happened in a small county. They just can't bring themselves to say a Republican did something bad.

We actually agree on something. What we probably won't agree on is that giving this non-entity any acknowledgement at all is a clear indication of how panicked the (D)s are over their prospects in November.

“Just sayin'” How illuminating. Thank you for clarifying that the thing you just said is a thing you are saying. Meh... Anyone still bringing up Gaetz at this point is a fool. They went after him like Trump, and like Trump, they keep coming up empty. Some people need to learn when its time to let something go. In the mean time, there are some seriously troubling Democrat congress critters who appear to be terrorist enablers or at least sympathizers. Most of them are in "The Squad." And that's before we get into Sen. Menendez (D-Cairo), and the Senator who thinks global warming causes earth quakes.

The final agreement was kept secret until just recently, when a local newspaper in NH got access to the records. The officer who did the threatening and was terminated was suspended for 5 days for having a relationship with a 16 year old girl. After being terminated, he opened a gun shop. He's also a state legislator in NH.

As I remember, four women of color. That's two strikes as far as conservative and MAGA Republicans are concerned. And now they throw in "terrorist." Of course, there's no evidence. It's just another attempt to divert from the legal problems of the accused criminal Demented Donald.

My issue is that some people here would like to have me believe that someone from a town of 13,149 people is representative of, or can have any impact on, the national (R) party. There are posters here who are constantly guilty of the twin logical fallacies of hasty generalization and guilty by association. Introducing logical fallacies into a conversation is counterproductive and should be pointed out whenever it occurs.

Do I think that all Trump supporting MAGA folks are death-threat making pedophiles like this guy? No. Absolutely not. Never said anything close to that either. I think most of them, probably 98 percent of them, are decent people who for whatever reason, have fallen in with a con man and don't realize they've been the mark all along. There is something about MAGA that does bring these kinds of people out of the woodwork, though. That is what these posts are about.
