What is wrong with someone that thinks they are a cat? Clinical lycanthrophy is a rare psychological disorder, recognized as mental illness by the AMA. Interesting. So these people that think they are something they are not are mentally ill. I agree with that. Can they put on cat suits and have surgeries to make themselves look like cats and then it should be accepted? A little facial reconstruction, maybe??

Never heard of her prior to the "outrage" over Bud L. Certainly doesn't pop up everywhere for me. Guess we have different social media profiles. I looked into it once it started getting mainstream media attention. I'd def seen him before but I too looked more into him after the Bud Light debacle started. So, no need to dismiss everything I said and turn it into wondering why I know these things. That was meant to be a dig and pretty unfair. At least I know enough to know he is clearly sick. Clinical lycanthrophy is recognized as mental illness by mental health professionals. Transgenderism is not. Pretty clear. |

Most in the mental health field no longer consider gender dysphoria a mental disorder. The trans community and allies are loathe to change designation as that would disallow insurance coverage for therapy. As you probably know, homosexuality was categorized as mental illness/disorder at one time. |

There is nothing normal about Dylan Mulvaney. Clearly, he has some mental issues. He needs help, not encouragement. He is way over the top type of trans that makes people uncomfortable. He dresses and acts like a little girl... a little girl, a baby doll. Ughhhh. That makes me uncomfortable. He tries to sound like a little girl and it's off putting. All he is doing is playing dress up and he really thinks he's a girl.... he is not! Putting on make up and women's clothes does not make him a woman. I actually believe he is hurting the trans community. I feel bad for the trans people just trying to live their lives quietly... like most of us. Some of his videos are simply cringy and uncomfortable for people. People can accept trans, they don't have to embrace it or support it. These Bud Light drinkers are simply saying enough is enough and it's working. I still believe he's only in this for the money and once it fades will move on to something else.

No, unless you narrow down the scope of what acknowledging encompasses. Most people acknowledge the existence of trans people. It's the normalization, mainstreaming of it they object to. People are objecting to being told how they are supposed to feel about that. Calling it a "phobia" is beyond silly too. AB produced ONE can with the image of Ms D on it, sent it to her and paid for placement of her posing on her Twitter account w said can. That was it. How is anyone being "told" how to feel about anything. Ms D is an "influencer" in the queer sphere. Who do you suppose follows her on Twitter? Had you ever heard of her before? The hate mongers jumped on this and made it a thing. You acknowledge the existence of trans people--damn big of you. But you don't want them "normalized". What does that mean? They should hide? How you "feel" about it is up to you. Does it hurt? Poor thing. Your pain must be debilitating. How we as a society treat these people is the issue. Nobody gives a **** how you or I "feel" about the issue. Its not Twitter, its TikTok. Lots of kids on TikTok .

Personally, I'm of the opinion that adults who want to go down the heavy body mods road should be free to do so. They have their own community too, along with a magazine (called BMEzine). But this sort of thing should not be available to children. And the medical community needs to do a much better job in general with concepts like informed consent and balancing risks and benefits.
