I was already wondering ..... About??? Wandering around in a not so great area? Yes that could do it. No, about the assault. Perhaps he initiated it, or was down that way doing something shady.

Unless he says he was carjacked to there, I cant imagine what he was doing at north and greenmont after midnight that wasn't shady .....

Well as I suspected they released Woodrum and are going with 3 QBs. As for Vedvik, he may want to get the hell out of Baltimore after last night. Hate to say it....but I think he discovered that the blacks that live in Norway are NOT like the ones that live in certain parts of Baltimore. Anyone know how he is doing. Since I have found anything other than the initial report I guess he is OK. Maybe he will luck out and go to Green Bay the demographics and weather are more to what he is used to. 😊😉 Neither are the whites so what's your point? I used to live in a town in Norway named Stavanger. Norwegians are one of a kind. They only have 2 speeds "Stop"and "Go"

US whites and Norway whites are different. And water is wet. However, you don't hear of many whites walking into a white (predominantly...if they still exist) neighborhood and getting the shxt kicked out of them. So taking what I said and what you just said and folding them together...…...that is the point.

But two questions: 1- What is this 2 speeds thing 2- As I understand things Norway is a very nice peaceful place to live. Could that be due to Norwegians being one of a kind overall. They know the rules, socially and otherwise and accept them as is? While we in the US are about 180 degrees from that?

Every city I've ever lived in has a bad section so's Baltimore. This guy was at a bar in Fells Point and hooked up with a couple of girls and woke up without his wallet and cellphone. I'm surprised these teams don't have babysitters.

He was out in Fells Point with a couple of players. They were leaving and he wanted to talk to a few girls. Then he found himself on Boone St. The police haven't released the camera info from the area. Maybe they are trying to identify the guys that did it.

I knew someone would be calling after Thursday. Lamar looked good too. I'm excited to see what he can do this year.

5 touchdowns today...so far.
I know it’s the Dolphins but that’s impressive for a QB people were trashing all last season and offseason.

Through two games Lamar has 7 TD and 722 yards of offense. His QB rating has been over 100 in both games. He’s making a lot of people look foolish so far for doubting him.

He looked rougher yesterday, and I suspect the Dolphins are going to make a lot of teams look really good for a week this year. But he is multi-faceted and has clearly adapted to the speed of NFL games. Next week's trip to KC will be interesting. They are a good all-around team, and I will be interested in how Lamar does against them. I expect the Ravens to lose because the secondary is currently weakened, and that's going to let Mahomes pass all day long (the Cardinals torched them a few times with a 36yo wideout). So to even stay in the game they are going to need Lamar at the very top of his game.

I think I read that his game against Miami was rated like the 6th best start in NFL history, so I suppose he did look rougher last Sunday. KC's defense is suspect. I expect Lamar to play well. I don't expect to win but we should have beaten them last year and they're without Hill and Hunt.

If he plays well, and so far he has in most games, the Ravens can win in a high scoring shootout. If he does not, they lose as Mahomes picks the secondary apart. Marlon is shutdown, as you can see (so far) few have challenged where he covers. But without Jimmy Smith, and with a so far unremarkable Earl Thomas, they may be a little porous. They got burned bad by a 36 year old wide receiver last week! Sure, sure, top-tier talent and all that, but it's worrisome. Lamar did almost everything right against Miami. He made some mistakes against the Cards. That's all I meant.

Well, they lost today... but I liked what I saw from Lamar. He stayed committed to the game, kept trying to win, and if they'd played five quarters he might have pulled it off. They didn't lose because they failed to play hard on offense; they got beat on defense by a kid who very well might wear a gold jacket one day. Lamar did have some accuracy issues but I think the Chiefs put more pressure on him. To succeed over the long haul he will certainly have to learn how to throw accurately in that situation. We'll see against good teams later in the year (Patriots, Rams) whether he can do that.
Out in Denver, meanwhile, Flacco had a pretty bad game, with a lost fumble and a pick. He had a number of nice completions but a number of drops as well, as he used to have here. Increasingly I am convinced there is something just *a little bit* wrong with his passes that makes them somehow harder to catch. It is nothing I can see, but balls go into and then out of receivers' hands.

Flacco's pick was Godawful. There was not a Bronco player within ten yards of where he threw that ball.
Lamar played an uneven game but he single-handedly kept us in it. Coaching and to a lesser point, officiating, held us back. Oh, and Mahomes doing Mahomes stuff. SMH.
Losing to KC is to be expected. Maybe we can get them again in the playoffs and the result will be different. Until then, you have to handle your business, especially at home, vs a division foe. The wheels look like they're close to coming off in Cleveland after all the preseason hype, so beat them and keep moving forward.

In HS and college I played tight end and was lucky enough to have caught Joe Thiesmann and Drew Persons passes in HS and others passers in college. And you are correct....there is 'something' definitely different between those chucks. Joes spun so hard that it spun in your hands for a second or two before you latched on. Drew (yes he was a QB formerly) on the other hand was almost a clone of Lamar in style. And his throws ...while they were laser like, they were soft...on the catch it would just sort of melt into your hands. So in one case you as a receiver were fighting for dear life to hang on, the other ...very nice. So I think you maybe onto something there

Pretty amazing in this day an age that there are still players that can almost single handedly keep a team in a game. You look at Vick and Wilson he is in some pretty elite company. And only after about a years worth of game time. And throw in his steadily improving passing game. Well, they may have found a real gem here.

Last Sunday's NY Times sports section had a good article on Lamar Jackson - unfortunately Mrs G isn't currently around to post the link and I suck at it.
I've always thought that Lamar's passes look weird coming out of his hand. Turns out he throws the ball with his index figure touching the nose of the football and his grip on the opposite side of the laces. Also, he'd much rather pass than run - he starts working on his off-season mechanics in February (in Florida) - and that when he screws up his passing technique during those workouts, he is taunted with "See! That's why everybody thinks your a running back".
Decent read if you can find it...

He throws very tight, straight balls to my eye. And his sidearm passes are nice too...they seem to wrap around defenders somehow.

Joe Flacco threw a lot of balls that bounced off guys. I never figured out what was going on there because they looked fine to my unskilled eye. But in engineering when there is a consistent performance problem we look first at the common part, which led me to suspect Joe was the problem.

Still, Lamar was great again today.
So electric.

Andrews had three drops today. Still, Lamar was great again today. So electric. My brother thinks Andrews has a medical problem, but to me it just looked like the balls were not precisely on target. I feel he could have and should have caught them. Lamar had a really nice game, basically at times carrying the offense. But let's not forget the solid defensive effort, perhaps the best of the year, with a pick six and scoop and score. That despite two, count 'em two ticky-tack roughing calls that only a handful of quarterbacks even get.
