TOOOOOOTTTAAALLLYYYYY forgot about that. 👍 Don't laugh but the best part of bluefish is the cheeks! On the sides of their jaws larger ones 10 lbers there is a meaty part of the jaw. Cut that ot and fry it up, eat like a potato chip with Old Bay! Not laughing about that at all. When in NJ...some of the oldsters would fillet a blue...cut the dark oil strip out...and smoke it into jerkey….put the white's in the butter milk. No cheeks.... the blues when surf casting rarely got that big. We didn't have ol bay in the 60's at Seaside....but I bet it would have been great on the jerkey.

I lean way towards shellfish but will eat a fish on occasion. Cajun cat is one of my favorites. Blues are mostly for fun over eating.

Do you use buttermilk, how much do you pay for it? Whatever the recipe, I use a mixture of semi-skimmed milk (half milk?) at a ratio of 10 to 1ish with lemon juice. In my case I will use 25-30ml of lemon juice and make that up to 300ml with the milk, stir, set aside, and 5 minutes later - voila, buttermilk. Is is years since I last bought actual buttermilk. And what does one use buttermilk for? I have heard about it....a guy that was a driver for me at a scrap yard...drank it for his stomach problem ...Dr told him to . So what is buttermilk used for besides biscuits. It is used in baking. Soda bread or cornbread for instance. Scones, biscuits or any recipe that requires rising using bicarbonate or baking powder. I make soda bread at least once a week.

Does it have an advantage over regular yeast? Yeast takes hours of proving and rising. With Soda bread the rising is created by the chemical reaction between the acid (lemon juice) and the soda. I can make a soda bread loaf from start to table in 45 minutes.

It would work although it would be a much 'heavier' crust than you are used to.

Here's a tip that works for me. YMMV Instead of using bug spray like Off or Repel, try Vicks VapoRub. Bugs don't like the camphor, eucalyptus oil or menthol. Rub just a little on your hot spots; wrists, back of hands, inside of elbows & knees, back of neck, both sides of yoir throat, temples, wherever you get bit. A little goes a long way, and I find it works great. Better for you then all those chemicals... Make sure there are no open scratches were you put the Vicks. Camphor is toxic.

Cheaper still is white vinegar and water. It's great to detail the exterior of a car as well. It cleans just about everything. I buy it by the gallon

I swear by it. Never thought about it for clothes but that makes sense. And lately it's been getting a lot of use being sprayed on ant infestation.

For what it's worth, I've been using Bret Favre's razors for I can't remember how long. Usually get another set once a year. Of course I only shave Once a week on Sunday morning, I don't have the kind of job where I have to look Good all week so I don't bother. It's not like I really go anywhere anyway nowadays.
