I fully realize that the 2nd and 3rd stringers were in on both sides of the ball. But, I think Joe begins the season as lackluster as he usually does (even without injuries) I gotta a feeling that he is going to be riding the pines by mid season. At least last night was FUN to watch. It wasn't like watching paint dry. To me the last few seasons have been dull dull dull. It seemed as if they didn't go out to win....just not mess up so much that the gave the game away....which on too many occasions they did anyway. Again IMHO. The word out of camp is that Flacco is having a superb camp. Doesn't mean much but I think Lamar lit a fire under his ass. It's not a coincidence he holds a workout with WRs for the first time since 2011 this year... I think he'll play well, actually.
It was fun getting a look at the new guys. I also liked the RPO offense they used. Could come in handy in short yardage downs.

RGIII looked good. Looked healthy and didn't look timid like he had been with WAS and CLE. Nice zip on some passes. Correa was everywhere tonight. Great game. Best player by far. Jackson showed some flashes, but overall looked like the raw rookie he is. If Flacco gets hurt this season I think RGIII would be the first to get the call.
Perriman dropped the first pass thrown his way. His hands basically gave birth to a football as it squirmed through them. $600K wasted to bring him back this year. He needs to be cut, now.
Totally agree...in a word....he sucks. Ozzie definitely blew it with this guy. He is only good for three things; keeping the seats warm on the bench while he mends, keeping the trainers busy and employed fixing all his many boo-boos and playing basketball with a football before dropping it. I still can't believe that first dropped pass. MY GOD!!!! I played football in college and I KNOW if I dropped that my coach would have called me over ...asked for my helmet and pointed to the showers. I agree....he is a total waste of space. Put him on the suicides squads if they can't cut him for some stupid contract reason. Maybe he will get busted up enough so he can't play at all and frees up a slot for someone that knows how to catch a damn football. And thank God they got rid of Campanero....he was another broken toy...nice sentiment drafting the 'hometown boy' but he stunk like fish left out in the sun for a week. Camp was good he just couldn't stay healthy. Great ST guy. The type of player who would be great on a team like NE.

Speaking of watching paint dry, do you follow the Orioles, also? 😁 Ahhhhh nope....not anymore....if I want pain I will go down to my workbench ...pull out a hammer and smash my fingers. 😄 When I moved down here in 83 from the NY area I was so excited sports wise...unlike NY ...you could still get tickets to Colts football games at a reasonable price and the O's were still competitive. Well in keeping with 'my luck'...the Colts moved. So I bought packages for O's games....and of course they tanked for years...so I stopped the packages. I did watch on TV till that got too painful. When they made that comeback....I started getting interested again...and was planning to go to some games again this year....well they imploded and I took the ticket money and took my wife to several nice dinners. To be candid, I don't think the O's fans are willing to put up with a 3 year or more rebuild. As we have already seen interest (and associated money) is going elsewhere. And with the MASN (?) contract likely to go away, I predict that the O's will be gone by 2020. What I don't get...is how a ratty ass team like the Expos move to Washington and makes the playoffs etc. as fast as they did. Answer, owners that spend money and don't run it like WalMart….and a coaching staff from top to bottom pros to the rookie leagues that know what the hell they are doing. Sorry I rambled but this 'stuff' has gotten to me. I guess.

And this healthy thing....is it me....maybe I am just paying more attention as I get older but it seems that both the Ravens and O's have an extremely high rate of injury (something in the water?) or is it that other teams also have high injury rates but they have enough backup talent to compensate and our teams don't. I have gotten to the point that I don't worry about how well the player performs as much as I wonder how long he will stay healthy. 😡

I have heard that too. And maybe Larmar did..and about time. I think that is part of the problem with long term high dollar contracts...regardless of the sport. They become complacent...I think. Don't get me wrong I hope he does well. But that being said....I don't doubt that Harb. will pull the plug if Joe faulters….his contract is up this year I believe as is Joes. And just like the 'real' world....if it is you go under the bus....or I go under the bus...guess who gets to be the speed bump.

The Orioles were actually pretty lucky with injuries for the last few years. Especially with pitching.

It's to the point where I am furious whenever I see him on the field. He single-handedly lost us games last year with his bobbles that led to INT's. He needs to go and shouldn't have been brought back.

I’m being kind of course. LOL

Hoot … you are new...so you don't know me (or maybe you do in another life 😉) but I tend to call a duck a duck and don't soft soap things. Perriman should go down as the top 3 flops in Raven history. And as pointed out by Pickle ….he should have been GONE after his second boo boo. Sorry, incredible potential does a team no good if they never see it. But to be fair. Perriman is like many 'sure fire' drafts for all NFL teams. Remember 'the Boz' for example and many others. Yes many did really well as big fish in small ponds. In the NFL everyone is a big fish....and the small pond guys are exposed as breakable or not as talented as we were lead to believe with all they hype. Read this article about 'the boz'....it is almost like reading about Perriman. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brian_Bosworth

Myself and several others hated the pick from the start ..... His hands have always been horrible and I posted videos and stats of all his drops from college back on the sunspot board ...... The injury issue was not something we saw, but as to the iron hands, this is who he is and has always been ....

As you pointed out...he seemed to have all the tools...he also seemed to have decent hands in college...but going back to my 'big fish small pond thing'....I gotta a feeling that he is not 'tough'....that is....he got hammered by guys of equal or superior size and has become gun-shy. How else can you explain his incredible catches during none contact drills as we see on TV....yet....he suddenly has 'iron hands' when someone might knock the crap out of him? When I played football at Rowan University....we used to call them 'pretty boys'...lots of flair and speed and talent till you got down to it. Then ….poof. Give me someone who maybe a step slower...but is hard nosed and will catch the ball regardless. Save 'pretty boy' drafts for the supplemental. Ozzie should have figured that out by now....but then ..that is maybe why he is stepping down.

I saw individuals protesting.
I still support the team even if I disagree with most of the the individuals.
