I do love me some Oktoberfest beer.
Lots of pumpkin beer as well.
I picked up a keg of Pumking last night, going to tap it tonight.
Then I went to dinner and had the Rum Barrel Aged Pumking. Very good and tasty but I could only drink one of those. Big, intense flavors and 13% ABV!!!

Keg has been tapped. It's now officially fall. Campfire tonight in my backyard.
Life is good.

Cheap beer Yuengling, imports Dos equis, San Miguel (Philippines), Moosehead (which is pretty cheap) or Peroni which I have in the frige as we speak. Few others here and there, couldn't care less about most American beers, malts or import ales. Shame Natl Premium is no more, I liked that.
The hotter the crabs, the cheaper the beer will work, even National otherwise it's junk.

National Premium is back. Not sure how it stacks up against the old stuff. www.nationalpremiumbeer.com/

For a modest priced lager it was one of my favorites where as Boh and Colt was pretty much for drunks without taste buds.

Most pumpkin beers are over spiced. The best I've ever had was from Devil's Backbone a couple of years ago. Went there last year around this time but it was all gone.

A friend of mine brought over pumpkin beer, she rimmed the glass with caramel and brown sugar. The first few sips were good, something new to try I guess. Then it became to sweet so I poured mine into a clean glass.
Honestly, I could go the rest of my life without another pumpkin beer. They're okay!

I LOVE pumpkin pie but not with beer.

I don't even like pumpkin pie, why on earth would I try a pumpkin beer? You're half right on that one. Why screw a GOOD beer up? The only things I want in my beer are Barley, Hops, Water and Yeast. If you take the Cinnamon, Nutmeg, Ginger and Allspice out of a pumkin pie you are left with a tasteless splurge, You'd be better of using potatoes or marrows ...

The pie is one of the few I like, (blueberry and Shoe fly being the other) lotsa Redi Whip helps.

The Pumking is going down smooth. You people don't know what you're missing. At almost 9% don't drink too many in one sitting.

Had the DFH Punkin at the brewery yesterday and really liked it. Liked several of their brewery only beers.

DFH had a couple of their small batch beers on tap. One was a dark Munich lager which was very tasty. I like to try the small batch beers at breweries instead of the usual's.
