I know this forum is anti-Yankee territory but what Aaron Judge has done so far this season is incredible. Not only is he in reach of passing Maris for the single season home run record, he could also be a Triple Crown winner. Judge bet on himself and now either the Yankees will have to increase their offer or someone else will pay him. π©

He's probably juicing. I hope he's being tested.
Enjoy paying a billion dollars for a player that will be broken down in a few years. Even if he isn't juicing, his massive body frame screams unable to hold up into his mid-late 30s.

The last few players who hit 60+ HR were on steroids. I'm always going to be suspicious.

The last few players who hit 60+ HR were on steroids. True but Judge isnβt human. Heβs an alien lol. J/K of course. The dude is 6β7 and super athletic. He probably couldβve been an NFL TE if he stuck with football. I totally believe that he doesnβt need βthe juiceβ to do what he has been doing. Plus heβs hitting for Average, not just slugging homers.

Heβs just physically stronger than most MLB players (and all MLB players are tested for PEDs now). I think Giancarlo Stanton could do what Judge has done if he played more entire seasons. Stanton is as strong as Judge but frequently on the IL.

That Judge is leading by that many HRs only makes my argument that PEDs could be in play. I remain suspicious, but you enjoy yourself. Not sure why you think everyone must get on their knees for him like you are.

Bonds hit for Average consistently long before he was believed to be on steroids. Unlike McGwire and Sosa (mediocre hitters without the homers), Bonds was a great hitter without the Juice. With the MLBβs strict PED policies and testing, I see no reason to suspect that Judge is on steroids. Weβre witnessing a historically amazing season. Just sit back and enjoy the ride. And maybe next year, Judge wonβt be on the Yankees. π©

I will enjoy nothing Yankee-related except them losing, thank you very much. And I couldn't even enjoy most of their losses this season either since they lost to the teams we needed to lose. But it comes as no surprise that you're a Yankee fan. You root for Russia in wars too.

I don't know if Judge is juicing, I mean the guy really is a freak of nature, but it wouldn't shock me either if he was.
Either way, I guess the Yankees are gonna have to pay him now.

There haven't been many guys as tall as Judge who were exceptionally good baseball players. But things may be changing. Have you seen the 6'7 shortstop on the Pirates (O'Neill Cruz)? The dude has a rifle arm and I think he has the hardest hit ball of this season.

I suspect Judge is using some kind of PED, but because he is good for baseball marketing, Manfred will ensure he is not tested. Like happened with David Ortiz in the last year of his contract. When money talks, fair play walks.

The guy hit 50 homers in his rookie year. What heβs doing this year isnβt fluke.

I know the Yankees are hated here and am aware that Derek Jeter is probably the most hated because of what happened in 1996. But Aaron Judge? Come on. He's very difficult to dislike. Says all the right things. Doesn't showboat. And there's currently no reason to think he's on the juice. That's just hateration

That's just hateration I don't dislike Judge personally. I can't - I don't know him. I am just suspicious of anyone who performs like that, and I am suspicious of all league offices since it became apparent that they do whatever earns the owners money, whether or not it is the morally correct course of action. As I said, when money talks, fair play walks. It hasn't always been that way, but ever since we elevated greed to a virtue that kind of moral fault has grown in frequency to the point where the safe bet is that skullduggery is going on, not the reverse.

He's certainly having a historic season and the triple crown in play is most impressive.
But as far as the home run record is concerned, he's going for the AL record. 73 is still the number to beat for the MLB record no matter how much the NY media cries.

Congrats on a historic season by Judge. Hopefully he is still a Yankee next year. In this era of all or nothing hitting, the .311 average is most impressive to go along with the big power numbers.

I would give him more credit if I thought he was clean. I don't know he's juicing, but with a performance like that it seems plausible. And I do not trust MLB to test ethically, since I believe it values marketing over fairness.
