It will annoy golfers that their sport has been filed in the same garbage can as FIFA soccer. Didn't know people still played it.

It will annoy golfers that their sport has been filed in the same garbage can as FIFA soccer. Didn't know people still played it. First off, I don't care about golf. One of the few sports I have tried including darts and horse shoes and I position golf below those as a "SPORT". At any rate, what I find interesting is that the PGA is tax exempt.... no shxt. And now this new ahhhhh arrangement has brought that back into focus. Somehow, f' that.... another wink wink nudge nunge how's you sister..... the PGA ORGINIZATION is tax exempt? The PGA Tour is tax-exempt under section 501(c)(6) of the Tax Code. The section applies to "Business leagues, chambers of commerce, real-estate boards, boards of trade, or professional football leagues (whether or not administering a pension fund for football players), not organized for profit and no part of the net earnings of which inures to the benefit of any private shareholder or individual."

So to both of you. A quote..............
not organized for profit and no part of the net earnings of which inures (*) to the benefit of any private shareholder or individual."
So does that mean if I and my neighbors decide to form an association of which our homes are assets as are the players in golf, football and so on. But we are just organizing the neighborhood ππ for the benefit of the neighborhood ..... much like what this rule/law seems to be based on .
Then we as part of the organization of the neighborhood can no longer be taxed?
(*) Dictionary Definitions from Oxford Languages Β· Learn more inΒ·ure verb past tense: inured; past participle: inured
1.accustom (someone) to something, especially something unpleasant. "these children have been inured to violence"
2.LAW come into operation; take effect. "a release given to one of two joint contractors inures to the benefit of both"

Yeah I heard of that..... a religious experience. However, back then the ones that own and ran the sport didn't include beheading and being fed into a wood chipper. πππ€£ But it is still pretty disgusting from a tax payer viewpoint that the PGA or any other entity can hide from taxes by saying 'well no we just ahhhhhh 'organize'. My azz. Million if not billions of dollars NOT COLLECTED because 'we only organize'. Yet some poor sucker that can't pay his city taxes will have his house sold out from under them. smgdh Maybe that is what homeowners should do. Form an "organization" that is just an organizer to "help" homeowners do stuff. I dunno Golf ..... Painting....watch it dry..... about the same. So why not? π
