There were selected televised games but in the era before RSNs nowhere near all of them were aired in video. It was on the radio, and I listened on a nightly basis. As called by legendary broadcaster Chuck "Ain't The Beer Cold!" Thompson and Bill O'Donnell.

He was my first favorite player, though I only caught him on the tail end of his career. Super nice guy. RIP Brooks.

Red Sox fan as far back as I can remember and the Orioles were hated nearly as bad as that team from NY. But as I got older, I realized some individuals are outside even the most bitter of rivalries.
