Nothing here. Where are you? Haven't heard anything about tremors or a quake locally just yet, but I do remember several years ago when it occurred and it took a few seconds to realize what the hell was happening. It sure isn't a normal feeling and quite unsettling, both literally and figurately. Did your neighbors feel it too?

Of those that responded 2 said yes, 3 said no. So if you include my yes half of us felt it and the other half didn't.

I was at the gym on APG and did not feel anything. My friend in Joppatowne said she felt it.

Nope. Didn't sense anything here in Gwynn Oak. But my niece NJ in Margate said she felt it.
Now the one 5.something that hit Virginia in 2011..... that one I felt, in two ways. 1-Yup it rattled the windows and dishes. 2-The 100 year old terracotta sewage pipes from our house to the main street line failed in spots. So I felt it in the wallet. Insurance didn't cover it "Act of God". Ahhh huh.

Yes. I felt it. I thought it was an earthquake at first but started to question whether I was having a medical event such as a stroke. Nothing shook but I could feel my insides moving about. But I was rather busy at the time and put it all in the back of my head. Then my employer sent an alert about it. There was no evacuation
Several years ago, I was inside the Candler Building when we had an earthquake and I can tell you that the building evacuated better than any fire drill. I was releaved to see people outside other buildings as I had wondered if the problem was with the Candler Building itself given its age.

I didn't feel anything, maybe because I'm in DC.
But there was a lady in NYC who felt it quite keenly.

I had a visual of a couple making love when the quake started...
Ooooh, baby did the Earth move for you too!

Years ago when one hit in MD someone on the Sun site had posted a photo calling it the Great MD Earthquake. The photo was a lawn chair that had fallen over.
Anyone remember who it was .?
