Fishing can be a full season sport there is no doubt.
But now all the stocked trout are fished out and leaves will be falling soon. I was wondering if anyone out there has a go to fall fishing preference.
If you have access to the bay it seems crabbing and such (if you have a boat) are on the table. Or not?
If you are fishing streams and reservoirs, what are you guys looking for in the coming months. Seems after the stocking is done...there isn't much 'out there'.
Thoughts?

Early winter has a great striped bass trophy season. in the lower upper bay. Caught a 40 incher in November a couple years ago.

Dove hunting seems to be in at the moment. My former boss and his buds headed out yesterday. Yes it is. I would be out myself but that got blown out of the water (literally) due to the flooding. So I never got to get my pre-season workout in. And at 64 (soon 65) and two fake heart valves and a heat index of over 105 and having to do it solo. I am taking a pass there will be two more. And as my wife said. 'Sweetie, if it is to hot to cut the lawn...it is too hot to hunt.' Yes mam. 😆 My wife is way smarter than I ...you can see it when she posts for me. 🤣

So we had one bay fishermen check in ….how about fresh water.
I wonder how the 'blowing up' of the Bloede Dam and eventually Daniels is going to help or hurt what little fishing there is in that stretch of water.

Please do use the "Spot on" term, is is widely used here, you may well raise some eyebrows with it over there though, but hey, they can do with the exercise.

You rich boat bay boat owners rarely can. KIDDING!!! 😄 Hey, I'll take you out on mine. Assuming we get another good weekend. Thanks for the offer. Actually I have been looking at maybe taking a head boat or Groupon charter of some sort. Haven't caught anything by bass and trout for years. River versions to be clear. Yeah a good weekend....how about a string of nice days period. My wife and I were talking about this summer. We both agree it had to be one of the worst in regards to weather that either of us can remember. I think we had 'maybe' had two 3 day strings in late may/early june. Then it was either raining, supper hot, super humid or both or super humid and overcast. I only remember one summer that was almost equivalent maybe a decade ago. I rained every weekend...starting Friday evening and finishing on Monday morning. from Labor day to Memorial day. But at least the weekdays were OK. I know MD can be humid ...but this one has been ridiculous. In fact I just got through replacing one of our window ACs. I was wondering why it was not working well so I pulled the cover. The entire inside was coated with black mildew. It looked like someone had thrown a bag of coal dust on it. I hate wasting things...but there was no way short of taking it apart and powerwashing it that I would feel comfortable using it anymore.

I don't know why by my brain just pulled up that the Tomato was really the 'apple' that Adam and Eve consumed. I like mine with Old Bay or course sea salt and fresh ground pepper. Yum.

An educated person knows tomatoes are a fruit and not a vegetable, however, it is a wise person that knows not to put them into a fruit salad.
