I saw that this morning, we are expecting "up to an inch".
It would be nice if it would snow Sat evening... Santa is coming to the community. He didn't get to visit last year.

I'm seeing temps in the lower 70s and rain for Saturday. Yuck. My wife and I are throwing our annual Christmas party that day and were hoping for better weather (no rain) so guests could hang out outside.

My wife and I are throwing our annual Christmas party that day and were hoping for better weather (no rain) so guests could hang out outside. Oh man... hopefully the rain rolls out early for you. It's supposed to be 69 degrees here on Sat with a chance of rain. Hoping it's gone in the evening, we have a fire planned with some friends.

I am ssssooooooo blip'n glad I raked up 16 bags of leaves this past week ending on Saturday. 🙄 I waited till (I thought) all the leaves were down before I began. Looked at my property today...... don't know where the heck they came from but I am looking at another 5 bags easy..... And now snow. Sheesh. Charlestown is looking better every day.  |

Charlestown is looking better every day. guido2, I took 14 10x12 tarps full of leaves to the woodline behind my house. 14. And this morning, it looked like I hadn't raked.

Up to an inch.  Schools have been closed for less. Good to know some things never change. Damascus would get an inch and the whole county school system would shut down. Meanwhile, it was only rain inside the beltway. |

My DIL family lives in the Lake Anna area. They lost power on Monday. They were able to get out to drive to Baltimore to stay with her & my son. Last they had heard power might be back on Monday. That's crazy! A week, no power? It wasn't a huge blizzard! WTH happened during this storm? Side note - I love Lake Anna! Quite and relaxing. It was a heavy wet snow with temps dropping. My wife showed me some photos from some of the roads. Trees everywhere.

Two years or so ago my block AND JUST MY BLOCK 🤬😡😡 had no power after a bad snow ice storm. Yes other blocks around me lost power for a day or so. But it took 8 more days to 'finally get around to' getting us back on line. Fortunately our neighbors ran power lines to our house across our street..... they had power and we put our perishable out in the snow. And this is f'rick Woodlawn in a major metropolitan area. Been to Lake Anna good fishing..... not much else. But that was two decades ago when it was ten miles to the nearest nothing. Now .... it's probably built up too? The fireplaces got a real work out that week or so.
