I appreciate Lamar seems to march to the beat of his own drum. But I think this whole thing is being overblown. The comments weren't even really taken out of context.

I did. I didn't see anything taken out of context.

I did. I didn't see anything taken out of context. Lamar said what he was referring to was that some people still see him as a "running back" - Shefter took that to mean that he was referring to being a black QB in the NFL and facing stigma for that. Lamar sought to clear it up, and seemed upset that Shefter did that.

I did. I didn't see anything taken out of context. Did you see the Tweet also? Shefter was trying to make something out of an innocent comment. Fan the flames. Lamar thought so and I agree with Lamar. Good for Lamar calling him out on Twitter. We really don't need this nonsense. Lamar does a good job at keeping himself out of any NFL "drama", he doesn't need Schefter throwing him into it.

I guess I need to see exactly what Schefter wrote. Because when I see this bit of conversation...
I don't see anything taken out of context.
Either way, non-story but I do like Lamar has his own opinions.

When the discussion turned to how there has been a historical bias against Black quarterbacks, James said, "It's dying off, but it's still there." Jackson responded, "It's still there. That's why I need that championship." I think that conversation was edited, and that's what Jackson is upset about. His "it's still there" comment was in reference to people thinking of him as a running back - not about historical bias against Black QB's - according to Lamar himself.
