I stumbled across this the other day and thought I'd share.
My wife and I know our way around a kitchen I think. But some of these shortcuts, other uses for tools and so on are pretty incredible.
The very first 'hack' is absolutely perfect now that football season has arrived!
Hope you all enjoy it as much as we did.

And I just happen to have some available. Using the spoon to peel things. And the trick with just a thin slice in the peel before boiling seems to be a real time save. Glad you liked it.

The trick with the cherry toms works well but you have to have a very sharp knife. Boiling potatoes works. Wine ice cubes rock! I also do that with fresh herbs. Now I have forgotten much of the video but as I was watching, I realized I do quite a few of them!!

Every thing hinges on a very sharp knife. I always hit the stone and steel before using them My wife doesn't freeze wine. But for years now she will put left over canned chicken stock in the trays, freeze and put the cubes in plastic bags to be used later for cooking. Very handy when you might need but a few tablespoons of broth.
