www.imdb.com/title/tt14209916/What a strange trip. 😄 Based on the true story of 1985 plane crash, lost bricks of coke and the bear that ate one…and some people. Ray Liotta’s last film.

So every movie that has a live person breathing, or perhaps eating dinner, is based on a true story because, well, people eat dinner. In my best Yoda voice: The smart assery is strong with this one.

Actually it's a recurring point of contention given real life rarely unfolds in an entertaining fashion.

I saw it yesterday. It's an off beat sense of humor for sure. Not sure why it was so funny but it was.

Oh geesh Rael, I didn’t think I’d like the movie, but it’s a hoot!! 😂 As we were leaving the theater we passed a group of 80 plus-ishs leaving with their canes and things. The one guy says to the group "that's the last time we let Roy pick the picture." I'm still sorting through my reaction to the movie wondering whether I should be concerned that the violence was funny. The black detective was one of the Chiefs of Police on the Wire.

Lol I think Elizabeth Banks struck a perfect balance of horror, comedy and gore. Neither too much nor too little.
