Time to see if the expensive quarterback can produce commensurate results.
I'll say five weeks until OBJ complains he's not getting enough touches. Over or under?

Offense looked rough, but I guess that's what happens when no one really plays any real games in a new offensive system. Flowers looked solid.
Luckily Texans at home was basically a practice game to get ready. Next week will be tough even though Burrow had a pretty rough day as the new highest paid player.

Offense definitely looked a little ragged, lot of mistakes, but had to expect that to a degree. Sucks losing Dobbins, yet again. And Stanely, yet again. These two are made of pure glass and the team should part ways with both. Guess we'll wait and see about Marcus Williams, who also appears to be made of glass. Offensive line struggled in the first half, in particular the aforementioned Stanely who had a dreadful game all around. Zay Flowers was amazing. Bateman and Beckham both had some big plays. Lamar was ok, other than the boneheaded INT early on, and a fumble where he was carrying the ball like a loaf of bread. The other fumble was Dobbins fault, as he knocked the ball out of Lamar's hands because he ran far too close to him on a dropback. Take way those two turnovers, and the Ravens probably win by 30. Defense was good for the most part. Smith and Queen had big games. Ojabo and Oweh similarly, and Clowney was abusing people when he was in. Hamilton is a beast. Not a lot of blown coverages, but the Texans and Stroud had a few good plays where they found soft spots in the zone. Overall, can't complain too much when you're 10pt favorites and win by 16 and were never really threatened. Of course, the one thing you count on any more is the "sky is falling" people when you don't win by 40, which were all over Facebook, and well, Mike Preston. I guess these fans would rather be in the Bengals or Steeler fans shoes today

As for the rest of league, well it's week 1, teams don't play many starters in the preseason anymore, so take it for what it's worth.
Browns defense is really good - or - Bengals offensive line is really bad. (I'd say a combo of both of these is true).
Steelers are a bottom feeder - or - the Niners are a juggernaut. (I'm betting on the former being true because it was fairly predictable).
Cowboys are going to win it all - or - the Giants are very, very bad. (Latter seems more likely).
Chiefs have some problems - or - the Lions are a playoff team. (Both seem true).
Dolphins are really good - or - the Chargers have some problems on defense. (I'm going with the latter, as I am firmly not on the Dolphins hype train yet).
Lot of underwhelming performances like the Broncos, Seahawks, Titans, Vikings, who look like mediocre to bad teams, and some who won like the Redskins, Saints.

OBJ characterizes wide receiver performance as "undercooked appetizer". Huh? Evidently Monken's response was hilarious but I have not heard it yet.

Ugly game last night between Browns and Steelers. Nick Chubb probably done for the year or longer. Horrific injury. Watson looked terrible. Pickett looked even worse. These are two uh "not very good" teams.
Bengals are in a deep hole, and Burrow is injured, but this looks like a two team division right now.

The Steelers do find a way. Tomlin is a good coach. They have a solid defense anchored by Watt who is now the Steelers all-time leader in sacks. I wouldn't count them out, even with Pickett at QB.

The Steelers do find a way. Tomlin is a good coach. They did last night, and you're right, Tomlin is a good coach. Yinzers calling for his head have no idea how good they have it. However, this team is not good on either side of the ball. They can't stop the run, and they aren't very good against the pass either other than Watt being disruptive. I could see them clawing their way to 8 wins as is the norm for them these days, but they are a TJ Watt injury away from being a 5 win team.

But they're in somewhat of a rebuild mode and could get better as season improves. I'm not ready to bury them yet.

Steelers got saved by two defensive TDs, but I'm not complaining since their defense won me the $20 high score for the week in fantasy league.
