The Ravens should win this easily. They have the advantage on both sides of the ball. But the Browns always seem to play them harder, particularly at the Bank, than they ever ought to be able to.

You would think it would be easy, after all in Cleveland they were down 6 starters and rolled easily over them 28-3. Watson being back helps them, but I don't think too much. He really hasn't looked good. The Browns defense is good, but the Ravens had little trouble with them in the first meeting, and this defense also gave up 38 pts to the Colts.

I'm no Browns apologist but they did turn the ball over 3 times that game and held the Ravens to less than 300 yards offense. Seattle had a decent defense and we cut them up like a hot knife through warm butter. I hope to do the same to the Browns, but I'm not expecting it.

I have seen some really bad Ravens football today. On top of which, a short turnaround against another decent team with possibly two starters sidelined for extended periods. Unclear how bad the injuries to Stanley and Humphrey are, but Humphrey's was non-contact as far as I could tell and those tend to be... bad.

They seem to lose 3-4 games a year in the same fashion. Get a decent lead, blow it late.
And just when you start believing the hype around this team, they pull the rug out from under you.

Similar to the Colts loss, the defense just couldn't get stops.

Similar to the Colts loss, the defense just couldn't get stops. It seems like the offense abandoned the run in the second half. Or maybe the Browns just did a good job stopping the run. Keaton Mitchell had 3 carries. Seems like they should have gone to him more. It looks like Hamilton and Stanley will miss the game this week. Not feeling great about this game.

Browns were stopping the run, so I understand passing more. But the OL was getting crushed in the 2nd half so the pass game suffered.

Only team to beat the Ravens this year is the Ravens. Getting tired of it. What a dumb loss. Kyle Hamilton admitted he felt the defense took their foot off of the gas.

Saw this posted on a Bmore sports forum I frequent:
5 LOSSES WITH DOUBLE-DIGIT LEAD SINCE START OF 2022 (T-MOST IN NFL)
8 LOSSES WITH 7+ PT 4th QTR LEAD SINCE 2021 (MOST IN NFL)
10 LOSSES WHEN LEADING ENTERING 4th QTR SINCE 2021 (MOST IN NFL)
Whether or not Harbaugh is to blame, he has to own this.

I believe that's on coaching. They were unprepared for the Browns. Grievously so. Define prepared. They scored 31 points. Defense allowed 33. I think the playcalling on offense again was suspect and they simply didn't execute in the second half on either side of the ball. And despite our desire to say otherwise, Cleveland is a good team. It sucked to be there and watch this happen live, but, it happens to every team.

It sucked to be there and watch this happen live, but, it happens to every team. 14 points of that "offense" came from defensive turnovers. And that same offense allowed another pick-6 late in the game. So our REAL offense wasn't as good as you make them out to be on points alone. Nope, this was a team effort at laying an egg. The Ravens are a much better team than this, and I sure as hell hope some of the lessons needed to be learned will carry to the locker room on a short week of preparation.
