This isn't a snowstorm. This is 4-5 inches of snow. But hey I'll take it my office is closed today. Maybe not, but it is 4" - 5" more than I wanted. Just take a vacation day if you don't want to go to the office! Don't ask for foul weather that annoys other people! I'm feeling confident. As long as they don't turn the ball over they win this game and it may not be close. I am... less confident. It will depend on whether the secondary can keep Straub from passing successfully and whether they can again stop the run. They have a chance, but it will be a tougher battle than week 1, as Straub has matured rather nicely. Ravens' advantage is that Jackson is playing some of his best football. Apropos of nothing, Roman spoke to the Bears about their job. There will be a bunch more vacancies just up the road, too.

The merging of Texans QBs Matt Schaub and CJ Stroud to form a super QB.

I have confidence in our defense to pressure Stoud and force a few turnovers.

I have confidence in our defense to pressure Stoud and force a few turnovers. On paper, I should. They are supposedly the 6th best defense in the NFL since 2006. Some metric, anyway. I just worry that they will hang around, and the defense will fail to come up with a play to stop them in the end. That's been the one weakness this season, though obviously it was only 3 losses, so maybe it's perfection I'm expecting. I really hate having these expectations of greatness. Much rather be in there like 2012 feeling like we were playing with house money.

And I want to go see them win an AFCCG in person. Last football fan bucket item to check off. I just wish this game would hurry up and get here already. I am tired of thinking about it.

Are you enjoying any of the topless beaches there? When we were last there around 2004, my kids were in their late teens and early twenties. We all came to the conclusion that maybe not all folks who took advantage of the opportunity should be doing so... *ahem* Enjoy!

The liquor isn't top shelf but there is a lot of it and it is "free".

We stayed in an all-inclusive as well - the Iberostar Grand Bavaro Beach in Bavaro, about 10 miles north of Punta Cana proper, and the beaches were topless (optional of course) and the "free" liquor wasn't too bad, but the really good stuff was an upcharge. Edit: Sorry for hijacking the thread. Shouldn't AlienRace be setting up a new thread titled "Divisional Round" for the playoffs, along with predictions?

Awesome win. Bring on the Bills or Chiefs. First AFCCG in Baltimore since 1971 long before I was even born. Let's do this!!!

Obviously the story is about Lamar, but the defense gave up 3 points. Chiefs/Bills winner has to be concerned about that.
It was cold as hell, but once things got going in the 3rd I didn't even notice it.

It was an impressive defensive performance considering they didn't sack Stroud once.

After the Chiefs/Bills game, I've seen some discussion about removing the fumbling in/out the endzone results in a touchback rule. It didn't change the outcome, but some are fired up about it. Personally, I see no reason to change the rule.
