Well, we got the Chefs. I was back and forth on which team I preferred, Buffalo seemed a little better, but well, since they blew it, we got Mahomes and the Swifties.
For the love of God, Lamar, please, please save us from a Taylor Swift Superbowl. Please.
I could see it being a close game. Chiefs do have a solid defense, and I could see them getting Lamar uncomfortable in the passing game. However, they have issues stopping the run. Chiefs run game is their strength, IMO. Ravens changed some things against the Texans and took that away.
Lions vs Niners - hoping the Lions take that one. Niners seem a little vulnerable, Purdy is definitely not the same QB when under pressure.

Ravens defense is significantly better than Buffalo's so that should definitely give the edge.

I was rooting for Buffalo. If there is another fanbase that deserves to win a SB it's Buffalo. But it's KC.
Bring it on. I'm ready.

I think everyone outside of KC hates them, especially with the Swift factor.
Lamar save us. You are our only hope.

My son just scored two tickets so I guess I'll be siting in the cold rain. But seeing as I was 8 the last time the city had this type of game, it will be well worth it.

I'm really hoping it doesn't rain. I've been to three rain games this year.

Great googly moogly! Not goin' anywhere for awhile? I... think they can handle the Chiefs. That team isn't the juggernaut it was a few years ago. But it will be a tougher challenge than the Texans; they can't start or end the game soft, but must play all four quarters, both sides of the ball and special teams.

Forecast getting worse. Rain is in the forecast all day. Could benefit the Ravens and their run game.

Put me down for Ravens 33-20.
I think our defense and the weather will be enough to keep KC offense in check.

Put me down for Ravens 33-20. I think our defense and the weather will be enough to keep KC offense in check. I think we jump out to a 17 point lead, say 24-7 by half time, the Chiefs make some adjustments at halftime and midway thru the third quarter it starts to payoff as they pull to 24-21 by around the fourth quarter but then in the last 10 minutes we outscore them 7-3 and the final is 31-24. By the way, when I was driving my 1956 chevy around, this old guy approaches me and gives me a magazine with a 1980's date on it and told me to keep it in a safe...

By the way, if my description of the above game proves reasonably accurate, I'm available for Vegas trips as long as you pay all of my expenses.

I think some 2 TE sets makes a lot of sense. They have a bad run defense so throw them some looks where they have to cover both the run and the intermediate middle of the field passes could help pull the linebackers from run defense.

If the Ravens allow the Chiefs to hang around they will lose.

Rumor is Humphrey will play. I doubt either he or Andrews will be every down, or even most downs. They're factors Reid has to plan for, though, which makes his job a little bit harder.

Key OL is out for KC. That’s pretty big for us.

Terrible first half. Getting killed in the trenches. Oh well, fun while it lasted.

We've been visited by the ghost of Lamar Past. Hopefully we'll be visited by the ghost of Lamar Present in the second half. But AR is correct, we're losing the battle in the trenches. I'm still hopeful that we can adjust in the second half. We have to get the stop on the first possession though. can't keep digging the hole deeper.

They got outplayed on both sides of the ball. It's what could have been last week except they were able to adjust, then. Could not, today. Had no answers, and made too many mistakes. They say success has many fathers but failure is an orphan. Not today. A lot of men own this loss.

Bottom line is they beat themselves in the second half after getting outplayed in the first. Flowers fumble really was the pivotal moment.

But honestly pulling for the Lions all the way. Curious: why didn't the Ravens run the ball more?

I had a bad feeling when I heard reports that the referees had a statistical bias against home teams. I tend to favor breaking up crews and redistributing them in the off-season for that and other reasons. But the league does not consult me on staffing decisions, sad to say. Now we just need to say goodbye to some players and coaches who will be elsewhere next season.
