That's cool. Pluto gave us all some real surprises, I wonder what the new info will show.

Interesting symbolism if you think about it. NASA isn't even sure if it is one rock or two in close proximity. Some of these probes longevity has been absolutely astounding....especially considering the technology they were built on so long ago. I mean this isn't like they whipped it the lab, but it on a warp drive rocket and it there in sort order. Now those things are 'Energizer Bunnies'!

Seems they still aren't sure if it is one or two objects yet. But it is revolving like an airplane prop. Just amazing that they can find an object a little over 10 miles long in the first place....then calculate a decade long trip.....and end up right where they are supposed to be....with nothing more than momentum, slingshots and some 'trim' rockets.

It orbits between 42 and 46 AU away. It took a little under 13 years to get there. That's some mileage!

And then there is quantum mechanics ...

Physics as we know it, note I said 10K years, not 1,000. Besides, I doubt we will even exist 10K years from now.....

And then there is quantum mechanics ... I have the Audiobook of Dr. Lawrence Krauss "A Universe from Nothing". Quantum Mechanics gives me a Headache! Oh here's this Particle, Whoops, It's Gone, Nope Here it is! How these guys have That one down is beyond me.

It's quite simple to understand once you accept that a particle can be somewhere and nowhere at the same instant.
