CNN's Chris Cuomo wasted no time in politicizing the cancer news. "Trebek is a major asset to our culture, not just to the game show. In a time of shallow beliefs and rampant truth abuse in our politics and beyond, every night he makes facts first. We need him now more than ever. So, Mr. Trebek, fight as you have never fought before. Do everything you can, and please know you are respected for all the right reasons by all of us. We are with you, and we wish you well."Liberals have no shame, and this guy is a disgusting idiot. Even his Catholic " keep-away-the-ooga-booga" ashes on his forehead make him look even more moronic than usual.

Well it's a shame right wingers had to slime up a thread about a dying Alex Trebek, one of the nicest guys you'll find in television, but I'm not surprised. Still shocked, but not surprised.

Trebek has a setback: www.thedailybeast.com/jeopardy-host-alex-trebek-has-pancreatic-cancer-setback-needs-more-chemoHis numbers shot back up when he ended chemo, so he is back on chemo. He said this: “I realize that there is an end in sight for me, just as there is for everyone else. One line that I have used with our staff in recent weeks and months is that when I do pass on, one thing they will not say at my funeral is, ‘Oh, he was taken from us too soon,’” Trebek said.
“The thought of passing on doesn’t frighten me, it doesn’t. Other things do, the effect it will have on my loved ones... it makes me sad. But the thought of myself moving on — Hey folks, it comes with the territory.”That sounds less optimistic than some of his earlier statements.

Sounds less hopeful than he initially did. So sad. Maybe he'll do as well with the second round than he did with the first round of chemo. I hate cancer.

Our area manager who I knew for something like 20+ yrs had the same cancer Trebeck has. He passed back in April. He had Chemo and after about a year of that they told him the same thing. It shrunk and looked pretty good but a few months later it came back with a vengeance and they hit him with the Chemo again. But it really knocked him down the 2nd round and it didn't help anymore. He lasted around 2yrs or so from the start which was better than everyone expected but the end result was the same.

I've lost so many people I care about to cancer. At this point, I don't wonder if I'll get cancer, I wonder what kind.
