I don't pick crabs for a living so I don't know. I texted my buddy who lives on Kent Island and he told me they can pick anywhere between 25 to 40 pounds per day. So using those figures a crab picker makes between$23-$28 per hours which is way above the living wage.

Sure, and with $0.00 benefits seasonal employment and practically guaranteed debilitating CTS (Cumulative Trauma Disorder to you SJW's) after a few years they'll have so much to look forward to.

People are still going to eat crabmeat. Like the guy in the article said, one more season like this and he's moving his operation to Mexico. Who wins then? They're still making more than Trump's grape pickers/fairway mowers.

What's a pound of crab meat cost in the Baltimore area these days?
A few years back, me and a friend went to some crab shack in Silver Springs to buy crabs for a cookout. We got slightly "adjusted" on the ride there. My eyes started burning within minutes of entering the place, and both of us were back outside quickly, wondering aloud what sort of spices they were preparing the crabs with.
When our order was ready, I asked that very question. Turns out it wasn't spicy spices at all in the air. Earlier, someone there had accidentally fired off a tear gas gun in the back of the shop.
We don't do that chit in our crab shacks down here...
