An Amazon Prime movie that is a sci-fi movie set in the small fictional town of Cayuga, Arizona, in the 1950s. The movie centers around two characters, Fay Crocker (Sierra McCormack) and Everett Sloan (Jake Horowitz). Everett is a radio DJ and Fay is a switchboard operator. One night the switchboard starts acting strange. The story takes one bizarre turn after another but ends in a predictable but bittersweet ending. The story is pretty slow moving but the acting and production shine. The movie is shot in very long takes and the camera is usually positioned low so you're looking up at everyone. It even has parts where the screen is completely black. The thing is, it works. The story is fairly plain but told very, very well. It is definitely worth seeing if you want to be impressed by a movie made on a $700,000 budget.

I saw it. It's well-made and then director has a bright future ahead of him but I found it too talky.
