Engrossing first two episodes. This is a Fargo season with a message.

Seasons 1 and 2 were great. I didn't like season 3 at all.
I'll eventually start watching season 4. Looks good.

Episode 9 was really good. They seem to be paying homages to classic films this season especially in episode 8 and 9. But this episode was one of the best the show has ever had.

Watching last night’s episode right now. You know how the Irish guy always tells the kid “if I don’t come back, I’m either dead or in jail?” I think I’m gonna start telling that to the dog when we go out. She’s grown a little too complacent with “we’ll be back.” 🤣

Finally finished Season 4.
It was great but I'm undecided as to whether it's the best season. I have to re-watch Seasons 1 and 2 which I enjoyed as well.
It also felt like the final two episodes of Season 4 were kind of rushed and not written as well as the prior episodes. I read that it was due to their production being shortened by the Covid pandemic. There were a few months between the time the stopped shooting and the time they finished the final episodes.
I thought I was imagining things when I noticed Loy's son got taller towards the end of the season but I wasn't. The kid did grow between the start of the season and after the few months pause due to the pandemic.
The Italian actor who played Gaetano was awesome. Chris Rock's performance was arguably the best of any drama role he's done. All around great cast as always.
<Spoiler below>
I really loved the twist at the end of Episode 11 where they connected Loy's son to Mike Milligan from season 2.

It’s not better than season 1 or 2. Those were perfect seasons of TV, IMO.
This was better than season 3.

I think Chris Rock will get an Emmy nomination for this. He was excellent. To be honest, I didn’t make the connection to Mike Milligan until I read an article about it half way thru the season. There were so many characters to keep track of this time it got confusing at times.
This was the first season my husband watched Fargo, so now I’m rewatching season 1 with him. Billy Bob’s Lorne Malvo is so evil.

I have season one on dvd I wanna go back and watch it.
I also think the 96 movie is easily top 5 for best movie of the 90s.
Up there with Goodfellas, Pulp Fiction, Saving Private Ryan and Silence of the Lambs.

"Milligan" was the last name of the Irish character named "Rabbi" (who killed his father for the Italians). He took care of Loy's son whose first name was "Michael". So the end of season 4 where they show grown up Mike riding in a car while having a flashback to Satchel walking alone with his dog, it's implied that he grows up to be the character from season 2. Season 2 pretty much had an all-star cast but Bokeem Woodbine stole the show as Mike Milligan

He must change it to Mike when he takes the surname Milligan...I guess to honor Rabbi who was more a father to him than Loy. Re: Season 2 - Kirsten Dunst & Jessie Plemons (Ed & Peggy Blumquist) got married in real life after filming. Thank you for that Best of!! I forgot his fine way of conversing. 😁 He reminds me very much of Dave Chappelle.

There was another character in S4 connected to a character in S2. "Joe Bulo". I didn't notice it until I watched this video

Jean Smart is excellent as Floyd Gerhardt. What an awful family.
