Space gray to replace the gray matter obviously missing from your head if you spend that much on ear buds. 😳

Anyone who would fork out $549 on a pair of AirPods doesn't need said AirPods, they need a full frontal labotomy ...

Why does Apple charge so much for their products? Because idiots will wait in hours long lines to hand over their hard-earned money for it.
No chance those things are better than Beats or Bose headphones and I think those headphones are cheaper.
I loathe the iPhone headphones. I always buy my own bluetooth headphones and throw those things into the junk drawer.

Social pressure to spend money one doesn't really have to buy something one really doesn't need to impress others that don't really care...

I love Apple products but this is nuts. Who would pay $500 for headphones? Apple junkies, and there are a lot of them. Those folks will skip a mortgage payment for a new product with that bitten apple logo on it. If you suggest a less expensive product from a different vendor they look at you like you've grown an extra head.

Well there is one upside, come the revolution, at least we'll be able to quickly identify the first ones to be up against the wall ...

Years ago when I first got into Stereo, I built my own Dynaco Pre-Amp, Amp & Tuner, got a Thorens turntable, an Akai 7" reel to reel recorder and my ADC 10" 2 way speakers, I bought a pair of Koss headphones as they were supposedly the best. Still have all of that stuff but rarely use it anymore. Koss headphones are still around! www.koss.com/
