Grabbed it off Usenet on Saturday. Not Great but not really too bad. I was expecting Worse seeing as how it Tanked in the Box Office. I would've thought that out of all the young actors in Hollywood & elsewhere they could have at least found One that bore some resemblance or could copy the looks, mannerisms or voice of Harrison Ford to some degree but I guess that's too much to ask. He doesn't really make out being a Young Han Solo at all. He could be Anyone! The story though was OK. Danny Glovers' son who was also in "The Martian" made a pretty decent Lando Calrissian. One interesting note is that they LEFT in the "Parsec" error (a Parsec is a measure of Distance not Time in Astronomy) from Episode 4, the First film. I think they should have just skipped that reference in the film but they compounded on it and kinda made it Worse.

And I am not as tech savvy as you but it sounds like you watched the movie illegally. Someone who brags about winning so much money in AC should be able to afford to pay to watch a movie.
Hey. Just my $0.02.

Hey. Just my $0.02.
Strictly a Low Roller! And I don't Brag about Winning, if anything I lose more than Win. I get a little Lucky here and there on Slots but the Only table game I play is Pai Gow Poker at the Lowest Min in AC $15/hand only available at the Nugget & the Trop. I can't do $25/hand everywhere else. It's a Slow Low Percentage game. Remember, the Less money you put At Risk over Time! That's the Equation. Buy in for $200 and with a little luck you can play 3-4hrs and stay close to even unless you hit a bad run. Now and then you get ahead but it's a Grind. Most people want more Action. Well Fast is how you Lose! Straight Up bets Only, don't play the Bonus bets. Cuts your Odds too much. There Was a time you could play PGP in LV Downtown & Off-Strip for $5/hand buying in for $100 and playing all day but the Lowest you'll find out there now is $10 if you're Lucky Off-Strip. Afraid my days of flying all the way out there anymore are Over. Too much of an all day Travel Ordeal for me anymore. I can drive to AC myself in my own Comfort in 3hrs flat. AC ain't LV but it'll do.
Been doing the Usenet thing since, I don't know, like around '98. I mentioned it to one guy some 20years ago and he said "Usenet? Is that still around?" It's not exactly under the Radar but relatively few Americans know about it. It's Big everywhere else. Takes too much Effort for most people who want everything Handed to them. It ain't exactly Easy anymore. Everybody Encodes the Uploads so you can't tell what it is easily and there's a Universe of Anime & Porn you have to wade through. Then there's everything in German or Chinese and other languages. I might grab a flick here and there but Truth be known Hollywood is making very Little that I'm even interested in anymore anyway. Years ago it was different. Pay? I Pay enough for my Cable Internet and the Time I have to spend just trying to dig up stuff. Most people wouldn't bother with it, it's takes a little Time & Effort on your part. Everybody "Streams" stuff nowadays. I thought people would have Learned about that years ago with Real Player. Hey I downloaded it and Played it so where did it go? It's Gone? Screw That!
That's about $10 worth!

I watched Solo recently...one of the first Blu-Ray movies I watched on my new 65-inch Samsung Q8 TV. Took me a while to get used to the smooth-motion. Makes everything look like a soap opera and the special effects really stand out and look cheesy. Anyway, the movie was breezy...to expected from a SW movie but a little too breezy. I prefer Rogue One of the spinoff movies. The Khaleesi looking amazing in it. Smoking hot. And the guy who played Han wasn't as bad as I expected.
