We have had our cat Pippi well over twenty years now. Ever since she decided to bang on our back door, walked in, adopted us and never left.
However, it seems she is preparing to move on. We have done everything we can as has the vet for well over a year.
But it seems as always.... in the end....time runs out.
So, I don't ask for these prayers for her.....for a miracle recovery. I think even a miracle is out of the question at this point.
But if you have a moment could you say a little prayer that she peacefully slips into the great beyond with no pain and dignity.
Thanks to you all. Bless you.

Aw, I am sorry to hear that. One of my cats is facing a health problem that may prove life-limiting; she is about to turn 12.
May Pippi go to whatever awaits us all in dignity and without suffering.

Thanks Yoda. Hope your cats' issues are correctable or can at least be managed. We have no exact DOB for Pippi..... when she showed up the vets 'guessed' that she was around 3 or so. So that placed her in years near 25...... damn good life span for a cat.....and that, till this time last year....was doing very well. Like I said..... time caught up. We were blessed and lucky to share her life. Thanks again.

Sorry, Guido. Losing a pet is always very tough. Thankfully Pippi had a very good long life in a loving home.
I still think about our cat that died in 2019. He was 16. Now we have two 18 month old cats.
They provide years of love and fun but you can never prepare yourself for when their time comes.

My prayers for Pippi but also for you guido and mrs guido. I know how hard saying good-bye to a furbaby can be.

Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers for Pippi.
But we had to have her put to sleep yesterday.
After 20 plus years together it was really tough to say .... goodbye.
Needless to say there is a big hole in this home right now.... she will be greatly missed.....always.
Again thank you all.

I dunno..... maybe I am kidding myself..... but I gottah feeling (or maybe it is a hope) another Calico will bang on our back door again. And maybe if we are lucky.....decide to adopt us.

Sorry Guido. If my dog died I think I'd jump in the hole with her so I feel the pain.

So sorry Guido, losing a pet hurts so much, they give 100% uncondtional love and want so little in return. She knew she was going to the right family when she walked into your lives.

Aw, I am sorry to hear that. They climb into your heart and when they go, as they must, they take part of it with them.
It never entirely stopped hurting me, but it got better, slowly.
