I'm not the only one here who posts Tweets but I'm probably guilty of doing that more than most here. As much as the media complains about Musk, most journalists still use Twitter to express their opinions or promote their articles. And most comments below them are racist garbage. A problem that had mostly been addressed I can’t say that I never see racist comments on Twitter but it’s rare in my personal experiences with the app. And they’re pretty good about removing bad content when users report it.

Just because you're rich, doesn't mean you know how to run every business. I'm sure theres a name for it but just because you are the world's best rocket man does not not necessarily translate to you being a world famous bird house builder. I wish Elon would put his trolley back on track.

Why doesn't Elon apply a filter like your app to twitter?

Perhaps our tolerance levels are not the same.

Perhaps our tolerance levels are not the same. Perhaps you follow different people? I don't see much either. Just Ravens, Orioles, internal industry, and News people. Nothing exotic. I actually tried blocking all of the suggested right wing notifications for a while and finally just deactivated both my work and personal account.

Perhaps our tolerance levels are not the same. I honestly don’t see much hate speech on Twitter. I see mean Tweets and insults often but it’s definitely not 4chan or Stormfront in terms of hateful content. But maybe we don’t follow the same people. I follow mostly news and sports personalities.

Musk hired someone to run Twitter

Rightwing Twitter is upset that the new CEO is a World Economic Forum member.
My guess is, Musk has finally given up on trying to "fix" Twitter and instead is going back to focusing on Tesla and SpaceX which are dealing with a number of major issues.
It's for the best that he let someone else run Twitter.

I imagine in the decades to come, business schools and universities will be adding Musk's Twitter acquisition as a case study to reinforce the lessons of recognizing one's core strengths in building wealth and "sticking to your knitting" despite the temptation to let one's executive ego run wild with horizontal expansion fantasies. Core strengths and strategies developed in successful enterprises rarely transfer well to other industry lines. Twitter isn't rocket science.

Deliberate in my sarcastic way. Thanks for noticing.

Sounds about right. Billionaires pretending to care about morals and blue collar workers is hilarious.

"People who make your food that gets delivered — they can’t work from home. The people that come fix your house, they can't work from home, but you can? Does that seem morally right? That’s messed up."
I really don't understand the point he's trying to make here. Why would this be 'immoral'?

What are these poor souls going to do when Soros shuffles off this mortal coil? They just make more chit up about someone else. A molecule of truth is no longer a pesky obstacle.
