In the summer, there is nothing I like more than grilled corn on the cob, buttered and lightly salted.
In the winter months, beef stew with a red wine base and sourdough bread.
How about you?

Summertime grilled fresh vegetables are the best. I'll use EVOO instead of butter with the grilling, wrapped in foil. We also grill Salmon, pork tenderloin, ribs, and sausages (par boiled first, only finished on the grill). I don't barbeque a lot of chicken on the grill as it doesn't quite cook evenly and tends to be drier and tougher than a good sauté. The veggies used to come from my own vegetable garden, but deer...
Wintertime is crockpot soups, stews, and chili. Though I'm still a fan of firing up the grill even in cold weather for all of the above.
We'll bake our own bread in the winter. If I had an outdoor brick oven, I'd be making bread and pizza all summer long too, but I can only dream about that...

I buy salmon by the box. We have it twice a week…various ways. But my favorite food? Steamed crabs followed by a healthy serving of chocolate.

I bought Wagyu steaks for Father’s Day (and one for my son for his bday today.) OMG, steak you can cut with the side of your fork!!
My son grilled them on FD, let them rest for the prescribed time, then sliced against the grain. Definitely worth the incredible per lb cost!!

Most anything that comes out of the water. Not oysters.

Stone crab in season, in Florida.
Mille-feuille, and yes it's best in France.
Roasted red peppers. Good cheese and baguette. Various Asian noodle dishes.
And I go with Ishmael, a beef stew in cold weather is hard to beat. Julia Child's pot roast also, pain in the butt to make but oh my!
And of course, GSA thin mints. Frozen of course.

I'm a breakfast person, especially breakfast meats like scrapple, bacon, sausage.

This is a tough question.
Summertime, I love burgers on the grill, all veggies on the grill. Cukes and toms out of my garden.
Pineapple on the grill, watermelon salad.

In no order... Crabs OctopusLobster Steak Pizza Sushi Mexican Fried chicken Good old fashioned cheeseburger As sushi or cooked some way. I like sushi. I also LOVE calamari that has been deep fried the correct way. Demetries near Ellicot City(may it rest in peace covid .... floods killed it) had fantastic stuff. They closed. Haven't tried the new place that is their yet. Great list you have but I would also include steamed MD style Crayfish. Yum

I love Korean food in general after being exposed to it when I met my wife. We eat it quite often, but I've somewhat recently developed an intolerance that results in crippling intestinal spasms/cramps. I've been able to mitigate it with (expensive) peppermint pills and aspirin when an attack occurs, so I have been eating it, but I have to be cautious and keep it in moderation. I'm angry with my parents for passing this genetic flaw upon me! LOL.
If I had to say, what my favorite, absolute favorite food is...gonna have to go with a good, wagyu cut. My father who is nearing the end of his time on this planet likes to treat my family with shipments of it from Snake River Farms every so often. He also has sent us some Chilean sea bass, which is simply amazing as well. I'm gonna miss the old guy when he's gone (not just because he sends us food).
Another food I really crave is this Persian chicken recipe my wife found that we grill.
I also love a big ole Nathan's hot dog. Best if grilled and covered with peppers and onions.

Yesterday, I had vegan General Tso's chicken, but cauliflower, and a green bean dish, also vegan, for lunch with a friend. Truly not everything is meant to be made with cauliflower. Pizza crust and this are two. lol Sorry, cauli!

I made a vegan shortcrust pastry lid for my steak and mushroom pie (I know, I know) on Tuesday. It was much easier to make, less messy and very tasty. It might become my goto pastry, especially at the price of butter these days.

Why would you put that into the same mouth that likes BLTs and Persian Chicken? I'm not sure why cauliflower is allowed to exist as a veggie...though, to my great chagrin, a friend made a very well seasoned cauliflower mash that was more than edible. I'll see if i can find the recipe.
