Well then You were obeying the Law and driving correctly and safely. Few others do. Nah, I was the guy silently cursing the guy in front of me! I save my more vocal cursing for the guy in the left lane who refuses to pass the truck to his right! I felt the same way. " Why are you afraid of the big bad Truck.?? "

More than once I have wished I had the hidden machine guns like Bond's Aston Martin for those idiots.

I-81 South Va & NC, trunks going over the hills and the one on the left invariably runs out of steam causing BOTH lanes to back up. I'd rather something a bit more sophisticated than a Browning 50 cal auto.... I want ROCKETS!

Driving on I-95 on NYE and NYD was brutal. It's like no one has driven in rain before.

Yeah a heat seeking right up the tailpipe. Laser guided for the electric roller skates on steroids. 😄

It's always fun driving on the JFX in the morning. Once you get past the State Trooper on the City/County line it's a free for all. The FOP told the City cops not to stop anybody on the JFX. I had a motorcycle pass me on the JFX the other evening and I never even saw it I heard it. I can't imagine how fast he was going...

And when it rains it is worse. If it snows forget it. I think it was 8 years ago an we were driving home from NJ and snow hit. It took nearly 8 hours to get home. I think I would still be on the road if I hadn't tucked in behind the snow plows. It was slow but safe..

Yeah those idiots on those pocket rockets are not just a pain but dangerous. I sometimes wish when I see one of them screaming up in my rearview that I had a big ol' beat up pickup....and would just cut in front of them at the right moment. OOOoooppppssss….maybe if you were going at only Mach 1 you would have seen my turnsignal. Yeah I still use them.

People speak of leadership; how can the "common man (or woman) be expected to act with courtesy and diplomacy when none of our so-called 'leaders" can do the same?

First "GOOD" scifi flick was Forbidden Planet IMO. I remember that film, it was a rare non comedic part for Leslie Neilsen ...

First "GOOD" scifi flick was Forbidden Planet IMO. I remember that film, it was a rare non comedic part for Leslie Neilsen ... Was almost if not equally good. Michael Rennie was great!

Sorry but you sound like a bunch of grumpy old men to me. And Guido as far as the "all about me now", that has been going on for quite some time. My neighbor complains about the young people who live down the street, he complains about the mail carrier who is a young women probably in her late 20's/early 30's, in essence he complains about everyone under 50. I asked him one day if he thought he was better than the young people of today. He said of course he was, he was brought up to be respectful of his elders so I asked him: "Who brought up today's youth?" Seems to me that if today's youth are so disrespectful and "me first" they were taught that way by people who are now complaining about them being that way. your logic is impeccable.....

Very true! Leslie Nielsen, Lloyd Bridges, Peter Graves, Robert Stack were all serious actors before they did “Airplane!” And don’t forget Otto 😂
