The Penix pick was bizarre on a few levels!

Oh, and I love the Nate Wiggins pick. Definitely a position of need, and top 20 talent that fell into their laps. Seemingly happens year after year.

Thoughts on the draft? Hard to find fault with any of EDC/Ozzie's moves. How is it year after year somebody falls to them, like a Nate Wiggins? Sheer luck? Or are there just that many clueless GM's in the league?
Solid, not spectacular. They got a couple of really good "steals" in the first few rounds. Drafting a pocket passing QB in the 6th seems like a throwaway, not really sure about that one. Definitely filled some immediate needs and added OL/WR depth.

Well the first defensive player didn't get picked until 15 so every team drafting defense benefited. 6 of the first 12 picks were QBs and 2 or 3 max will likely be good based on history. A lot of receivers went in the first two rounds too I guess because it's cheaper to draft than pay a top receiver 30 million.
While most of the league chases offense, the good teams all had solid defenses.
