Something tells me if we had left the US flag alone, and confederate statues alone, the right would still be calling for the Pride flag to be burned.

I'll admit, it's an opinion. But it's an opinion based on what I am seeing coming out of the right these last few years as it applies to the LGBTQ community. The Texas GOP Party labeled LGBTQ community as "abnormal" in their platform. Mike Johnson, the current Republican SOTH, is an avid anti-gay extremist. Now there's the Colorado GOP calling for people to burn every pride flag and labeling every person in the LGBTQ community as "Godless groomers". What do you have to say about these things? Do you approve of it?

The Maxine Waters comments for example. How is that not a direct concern for conservatives? She is advocating the government investigate people that hold different political views. Sorry, no live and let live there.

Sorry, no live and let live there. How is calling for pride flags to be burned and saying "God hates pride" and that all gays are "godless groomers" not a direct concern for people in the LGBTQ community? You seem to have a blindspot for the threats against the people you disagree with. And sorry but Maxine Waters isn't saying anything that Trump hasn't said a billion times.

Are you opposing free speech because they are concerned? What makes you think I disagree with gay people? I don't agree or disagree with who anyone wants to go to bed with. Its not my concern or business. When has Trump ever investigated his political opponents?

So far we have her saying Trump is instigating violence and his supporters should be look at, and then we have Trump saying he'll go after the people who prosecuted him, and the 1/6 commission. This coming after years of saying Hillary Clinton should be in jail...which now he says he never said. Why do you only care when Maxine Waters says this stuff?

Let's see how it works then: One side's symbols celebrate a slaveholder state. The other side's symbols are vandalized by the Right by flying them disrespectfully upside down to advertise their coming big boy wears long pants revolution. Why not wipe your ass on it too? That's how that works. No, one memorializes soldiers who fought and died in a war that shouldn't have been. It's not disrespectful to fly the US flag upside down. Its a symbol of distress. The South does. It's a symbol of insurrection. Stop selling bunk. You sound like a child.

What it means to you is not necessarily what it means to others.
