Eccch. Worst, bar none, season of the year. And once again the Canadians seem to believe we want their weather down here. If I wanted to live where it gets to -15 degrees, I would live up there!

Totally agree!! I have always been on the fence as to the advantages or disadvantages of living really north or really south versus the mid-east which.... if you live here...... seems to be pretty much what God's mood is at the moment. 😁

I lived in Southern PA for 3 years which is as far north as I would live. But now I spend about 1/2 my year in MD and 1/2 in DE which is fine because neither place usually gets to damn cold or hot.

I am guessing that wherever you live between the two, is nowhere near the 95 corridor between DC and Baltimore? Or do you live in a condo where someone has to deal with the hell of ice and snow. For reasons I can't explain the weather and yes the God damn snain and resultant boilerplate it produces seems to always happen. "oh what beautiful light coat of snow"....turns into body armor if you have to clear it and .... well.... it sucks. I am saying this .... yes as a rant.... sorry. Because, we here in Woodlawn have had rain all day. And..... guess what.... temps are supposed to drop into the 20's soon prefeced by guess what.... snow. !!#!@#$!#@^@%!$%!$! 🤬😨🥶 weather.com/weather/hourbyhour/l/Marriottsville+MD?canonicalCityId=ceb741885999d4b02ceb86dafb2a8ab9f959b115751d8d6b259253e1bb266223

In DE, we live in a condo so no we do not have to deal with removing snow and ice.

"Flash" and "freeze" are two words I never expected to appear together, and I can go the rest of my life without that happening again, too!

Tomorrow morning it will be 18 degrees, feels like 18 degrees. Compared to today's 14/6 that's practically a heat wave!

And if the weather guessers are right, it will be in the 50's by the weekend. But of course, it will rain.

The only good thing about single digit temperatures is that 40 feels down right warm.

If it is going to rain, let it do so when temperatures are well above freezing! I agree. But I can't really remember the last time we had two decent days in a row. Beats the hell out of boiler plate we tend to get in these parts. Yah know all I want is, seasonable temperatures, no wind, clear sky's... we 'might' get that for the next few days. But I wouldn't bet on it. About the same way I wouldn't bet on the Ravens going to the Super Bowl. 😁

I ask Alexa every morning what the temperature is in Aruba. Every time she tells me it's 85 degrees and sunny. Every day I ask myself why I don't pick up and move there.

I was seriously into tennis back then I and I "thought" the weather was milder and more predictable in MD. Nope. At least in NJ, when it snowed it snowed, when it rained it rained..... yeah we had some ice. But seems here, if you are anywhere near 95 it is snail which turns in to stuff you could use as a flak vest. 😁

I know what to wear every day and I can come home, put on the fireplace, and sleep comfy under a down comforter. With the rain, humidity and mild temps it's always a guessing game and playing musical chairs with the bedding.

But for the last few weeks the weather has been all over the place. And I don't know about you guys, but here, in the last week or so the weather is all over the place on any given day.... sometimes hours. For example, as you pointed out I go to sleep comfortably covered. Then in the middle of the night, I am sweating like a pig. I get up in the morning and I have to put on sweats. Hours later, I am walking around in a sleeveless T-shirt. Last night I had to pull off and put on layers several times over the course of a few hours. Crazy.
