Was on the weather channel last night. One model showed 1-3 inches, the other 10. My money is on 0.1 inches.

Two trees down so far, one out back, one small one into driveway. I've had enough wind, thank you.

I think the artic chill is scheduled for Sunday/Monday, and the potential for a slobbernocker storm on Tuesday. Looks cold for an extended period too Sorry man But hey, could be worse. You could be the Miami Dolphins playing in KC at 0 deg kickoff temps I am not seeing that. It'll get cold, yeah, but I don't see any big storm forecasted. For better or worse we don't get snowstorms anymore. For better. Much, much better. Snow sucks.

Two trees down so far, one out back, one small one into driveway. I've had enough wind, thank you. I had a 75 footer drop in my backyard last Tuesday night in the middle of the windswept downpour. Luckily no damage to the home, though my wallet is a bit thinner after paying for the removal. The ground is saturated with water and way too soft for these wild gusts. I feel your pain...

Forgive me, but where is Walkersville? I've never heard of it. Just north of Frederick. After shoveling, I'd say more like 5-6, lol.

There is a battery one which is more expensive. Did really well with the amount we got. Not sure about deeper snow. I have an electric power washer from that company. Its really nice. Having had the gas powered one and them not starting this one is great.

My hands were so cold when I finished this morning I could not feel my fingers. (I have Raynaud's Syndrome in them.) I did not feel confident enough of my footing to run, so I walked my usual route, which exacerbated the problem. I have looked at rechargeable hand warmers, but they do not appear to be sized to fit inside gloves. For that you apparently need the chemical kind. Anyone who has experience with the rechargeable kind, I am interested in hearing about it. To keep the thread uncluttered, maybe send a PM?
Tomorrow should be balmy by comparison to today. And the footing should be better; the sun melted a lot of the ice from the roads around me.
