I don't know how large the pile of cash is that Mulvaney received for this, but I'm sure it is substantial. And whatever comments she received are probably being exaggerated. Everyone knew who she was before this happened, and she hasn't changed. While I'm sure there are some jack-wagons out there who've said some rude things, it seems unlikely to me that it would be different than all the hate Mulvaney got prior to this. The amount of BS probably went up because of how visible this is, but that was the point of this campaign, wasn't it? To increase Mulvaney's profile. Which happened in spades. She will profit handsomely from this, and isn't a victim. If there are victims here, they're the AB In-Bev stockholders, and Bud Light distributors. Don't forget about employees that are now losing their jobs. All AB has to do is have a high profile MAGA rep or President Trump himself do a commercial.

All AB has to do is have a high profile MAGA rep or President Trump himself do a commercial. If they could even find one to do it at this point. Lots of folks reveling in the effectiveness of the boycott. Probably wouldn't lend to much street cred to cross the lines... I'm actually pretty surprised that this has dragged on this long really. Not sure there's a way out of this one for AB.

I am surprised it has gone on this long but it is good to know that these things work. The corporate companies are learning a hard lesson.
Bud Light will now become a verb.
In the end I believe AB will be fine but man, this has to sting.

n the end I believe AB will be fine but man, this has to sting. They will, but you have to wonder about the Bud Light brand. Possibly a re-brand at some point.

I agree, the others mentioned above didn't last long and had little, if any impact. It works when people ban together. Corporations are taking note, I'm sure.

If only the snowflakes put as much energy into the labor and other abuses perpetuated by corporations.

Not sure there's a way out of this one for AB. I'm not at all surprised about how long this has gone. Bud Light is exceptionally easy to boycott. There are a dozen other cheap, watery light beers out there for people to switch to and never look back. Bud Light was never anything but the brand and they blew that up. It will never be anything other than "gender fluid" from now on. It isn't even like they were trying to trade one customer base for another. Mass produced light beer just isn't the LGBTQ crowd's thing. The really shocking thing is sales are down by about 1/3 even though they're almost giving the stuff away.

I keep hearing about the price of Bud Light dropping, sometimes being given away for free.
We have not experienced that, prices here have gone up over $3.00 per case.

Don't forget about employees that are now losing their jobs. All AB has to do is have a high profile MAGA rep or President Trump himself do a commercial. But that crash any sales that are left from the people only buying it to support AB.

Sure sounds like his matra. Profits but not really a victim. 😁

I believe there is a $15. rebate offer from AB. Just for giggles I went to the web and found it. They are sneaky ...... they don't tell you that you need the scan code on the receipt ..... till the end. But they .... I started working through it...... need so much information..... like what was you Mom's maiden name. I bailed and that is when I got the BTW you will have to had purchased the product so you have the receipt. More data harvesting.

Your profile pic matches you and not ironically. InBev will be fine in the long run. But the nations transphobia was exposed to be more nasty than I thought

Been to Citi Field twice in the last few weeks, Mets and NYCFC. Bud Light can still be found but I really had to look for it. Didn’t see anyone drinking it.

Yes, we can buy beer and wine at Wal Mart and grocery stores, makes life so much easier!!

First, a high profile MAGA wouldn't do that right now. That's a political death sentence. Second, all they want is an apology from BL for their wokeness, not the weak statements that they have shared. Third, over the July 4th holiday BL had a military heavy, rah, rah USA commercial and it still wasn't well received.
